Converging Filaments is currently on display in Ten Years of Brooklyn Lace Guild at the Textile Arts Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The exhibition celebrates the Brooklyn Lace Guild’s tenth anniversary and brings together contemporary lace by artist-members of the guild. The works explore traditional lacemaking through a wide range of present-day approaches, materials, and ideas.

Converging Filaments combines copper wire and fishing line to create an architectural bobbin lacework that explores how unconventional materials can change the structure and appearance of lace.
