Calling all Tattoo Experts Please…OPINIONS!:)?
Ok, I have a leo symbol tat on the back of my shoulder, its about 3 to 3.5 inches long. Its just your basic leo symbol (heres exactly what it looks like- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E2%99%8C

Anyways, I got it back in Feb. and i want to do more to it, so I was thinking about trying to incorporate a lion in it, I came up with the idea to do a lions paw.(like around it) Now, my tat is all black, would that look ok? Is it ok to do a tat around another tat?
Also what suggestions do you guys have on how I could color it. I want it to look cool, not like a pink or purple paw.
(By the way— I have a few tat’s, I know I can go to my tat artist for help on this, I just wanted to here other opinions)

I think the concept of adding a lion’s paw to it is awesome… I would do a realistic bottom-of-the-paw look to the tattoo… It would be okay to tattoo up to it and even over it if it is black. Nothing tattoos over black. I think it would look amazing.
