Bobbin and Lace and Tatting

Does anyone have a Husqvarna sewing machine?

Please help!!! I cannot figure out how to wind the bobbin. The directions are so unclear and I cannot figure out how to get new thread on the bobbin. I know how to load the bobbin, but for some reason just cant get new thread on it!

What machine do you have? HVs go back a long, long time, and there have been several bobbin winding methods used.

If it’s one of the plastic bobbins with a sort of corrugated center, you wrap the thread around the center several times, put the bobbin on the bobbin winder, and hang on to the end of the thread for the first few turns of the winder. Then you can let go and finish filling the bobbin.
