Picture yourself as a medical administrative assistant in a medical practice.?
What would you do in the following situations ?
a. A mother call about her 3-year-old child who has a possible ear infection. Explain to the mother the role of a nurse practitioner.
b. A 20-year-old man walks into the clinic with the finger laceration that requires simple closure with approximately four sutures. Is it appropriate to offer the services of another health care provider, in addition to those of a physician ?
A is the right choice..
