Building a transformer?
I have these instructions and i am required to build a transformer from them. I really have no idea how i am to do this, so detailed instructions would be helpfull 
also where to get the parts would be ideal.
The instructions are below:
The transformer is uncritical and easy to build. Use a E or EI core without air gap with an AL value of approx. 2000nH/W2. The primary coil has 25 windings of 0.7 – 1 mm magnet wire; the secondary coil has 500 windings of 0.2 – 0.3 mm magnet wire. Make sure that the insulation of the primary and secondary coil is well done. You should only use a plastic bobbin (Wickelkern in german) with 2 chambers – one for the primary coil the second chamber for the secondary coil.

There is an old saying that a picture speaks a 1000 words so my advice is to obtain a diagram of a similar transformer to give yourself a better idea of what you need to achieve. Look at say RS Components or Farnell on-line catalogue to see transformer types and find one that is similar to yours. The assembly is made by winding the wire around the bobbins in neat layers until you achieve the correct number of turns and then assembling the coils with the core and terminating the wire ends on relavent pins.
