what should i make for mothers day? im stumped.?
i knit and crochet, and ive recently taken up bobbin/pillow lace. ive made her scarves and shawls for the last couple of years, and i have some yarn that is her favorite color (that sort of orange/pink that you get around sunset) and some more that’s variegated that compliments it, but i dont know what to do with it. suggestions please? by the way im 22 so nothing childish please.
A throw-pillow cover for her bed or the sofa might be nice. If it coordinates well enough, use that yarn in her favorite color. You can get a pillow form at any crafts supplies store.
A rice bag cover would also be nice. You can make or buy a bag of flax or rice or other grain to put in the microwave to heat. It’s great for tired necks and backs. A knitted cover for one of those is really comfy.

A bobbin lace bookmark might be a good idea, too. You know what she’d use.
