Do women have difficulty wearing lace garments?
This is in deference to Goldwing, who wore an orthopedic girdle that happened to have lace inserts. He said they were miserable.
I bought a nightgown with lace straps, and I wore it once, washed it, put it on and took it right back off. I wound up giving it to my granddaughter. That scratchy lace might just as well have been wool.
I love lace. It is elegant and feminine. My wedding gown
had a lace skirt and lace on the sleeves, and I wore a lace
veil. It depends on where you wear the lace. It doesn’t have to be scratchy. I have an all lace dress, I wore for my
daughter’s wedding. You can soften it up by washing it.
