Ace Lace Ankle Brace

Another basketball shoe question [ankle support]?

It it an okay idea to use a shoe like this:

Which is good for traction and more of a running shoe..
WHILE wearing/using an ace ankle brace such as:

(or something similar)

-IN BASKETBALL-
Because o would have my speed and ankle support taken care of?
Yes, i’ve tried nike high-tops and they’re uncomfortable on my ankle and tend to slow me down..
Speed is my greatest asset.

So:
A running shoe w/ traction while weraing an ankle brace (possibly lace up) good or bad idea?
the shoes are OBVIOUSLY –NOT– used for basketball technically. I even pointed it out that people think they’re more of a running shoe. I even pointed out i WOULD go this way and not sue high-tops because of the lack of comfort.

it’s not a bad idea, but lightweight high- mid-tops will give you the best support. also i want to recommend an ankle brace. it is made by bioskin and i own it and it is amazing, i have never had an ankle injury while wearing it. http://www.trilokanklebrace.com/
